No matter what we do for a living, writing well is an essential skill. Our professionalism and our ability to rise up the corporate ladder often depend on it.
On Thursday, September 28th, 2017, Grammartopia-Chesterfield will be Author and Editor Kris Spisak‘s first ever team Grammartopia event, pitting two of Chesterfield County, Virginia’s prominent business associations against each other. Both the Midlothian Business Alliance and the Greater Southport Business Association will field teams of three individuals to compete to see whose communication skills reign supreme.
The top-scoring business group will win an email communications workshop for a group of up to 25 people. This is Kris Spisak’s most in-demand workshop, which she has delivered to small business, academic, military, and Fortune 500 audiences alike.
Audience prizes include:
- Gift certificates from Midlothian’s own The Little Bookshop
- Signed copies of Kris Spisak’s new book, Get a Grip on Your Grammar: 250 Writing and Editing Reminders for the Curious or Confused (Career Press, 2017)
You’re invited to join the fun at Chesterfield County’s own Steam Bell Beer Works.
Doors open at 5:00 p.m., and the game will begin at 6:00 p.m.
Book sales provided by The Little Bookshop.
